Overview

As Reproductive Health Champions, we are dedicated to educating and empowering communities on critical health issues. In collaboration with Lake Region Empowerment Network (LREN-Kenya), The Artistic Bliss, Kajwang Foundation, and a representative from the Homa Bay County Office of the Senate, we conducted an Endometriosis Awareness Session at Kuge Primary and Junior Secondary School in Ngodhe.

The session featured a series of impactful activities, including:
📚 Endometriosis Education through Arts – using creative expression to enhance understanding
🌳 Planting 100 trees with learners – promoting environmental sustainability and well-being
✅ Hygiene check sessions – ensuring both boys and girls have access to proper menstrual and personal hygiene education
📚 Q&A session – assessing the learners’ understanding and engagement with reproductive health topics

To support menstrual hygiene and sustainability, learners received thoughtful gifts, including biodegradable sanitary towels from Ecobana Ltd. and merchandise from the participating organizations.

Through initiatives like these, we continue to advocate for reproductive health education, sustainability, and community empowerment, ensuring that young people have the knowledge and resources to thrive.
