We firmly believe in ensuring that every individual has the right to control their sexuality, sexual health, and fertility. Our mission is to empower people to have a greater say, more choices, and increased agency over the processes and services that directly impact them. This means providing access to the products, information, and services needed to plan for the families and lives they envision.
Access to comprehensive and high-quality reproductive education is crucial. As advocates, we recently took concrete steps to address this by engaging in a transformative journey at the Kitare Health Center in Homabay County. Over three days, we conducted a mentorship program dedicated to promoting accessible and accurate reproductive education.
The mentorship program began with a townhall session and walk, involving 200 people. On the second day, at the medical camp arena, we treated 315 people, identifying 50 patients who were scheduled to undergo surgical procedures.

Day 2
On the Third day at the closure of the reproductive health camp, at Homabay County, The Lake Region Empowerment Network and Kajwang’ Foundation organized a Climate Change Activity to promote environmental sustainability and raise awareness about the importance of preserving nature. Participants were provided with seedlings and guided on proper planting techniques by our team of experts from Kenya Forest Service at Gembe Hills – Suba North.
